CELEBRATION, FUN AND FUTURE

“Challenge serves beautifully to introduce you to your best and most brilliant self.” Robin Sharma
I encourage you to spend about 10-15 seconds reflecting about the above quote basing it on the year 2012. What challenges did you face that unearthed the best of you?
From the celebrations, sit up and set new goals which are tougher and higher for the year 2013 because you are the only one who can make it better and more fun.
Some key recommendations you could consider going forward are;
·         How is your future from the next second going to be? Will whatever plans you make matter in 5, 10, 50 years from now?
·         Plan to get back to doing those things that lifted your spirit and send you soaring, through this; you will reconnect to that state of happiness that you may have lost.
·         Learn a new skill.
·         Be yourself; be original and most importantly, value people.
As I wish you a blessed, honourable and most fulfilling year 2013, remember;
“If you look to others for fulfilment, you will never truly be fulfilled. If your happiness depends on money, you will never be happy with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.” Lao Tzu
NB: As I write this blog, I am seated at the dining table of my friend’s house (Prof. Agnes Musyoki). Its now 1430 hours and I came to spend Christmas with her daughter Rahel Mwikali Kilonzo. It has been fun and enjoyable; with a homely feeling. As I composed this, I was inspired by the warmth of these great and honourable Kenyans and so I dedicate this article to them. God bless Agnes and her Family.
